I don't know, I think my 2 printers were auto-detected and put in "Local Printers"... What device URI do you see...? I just have socket://aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd[:optional_port] And use the specific drivers of course. > I just don't understand printer configuration on Linux. That's the Mac thing: limited and known setup/hardware makes it a whole lot easier.
