I responded to Dr. Morbius' suggestion that I "RMA the box". There is vendor to RMA the box to. If I knew that it was a motherboard problem, I could RMA it. Or disk, or PSU, or network card, or whatever. But, as I've mentioned, there's no indication what causes the system to hang.
