Well, we  have a well running ceph base system i've pimped this morning by
using cephadm method for monitoring addon:

All three manager can be accessed via IPv4 address from other hosts. The
configuration is completely "out of the box"

mgr            advanced  mgr/prometheus/server_port           9283
