Rather Number 1 & 2 from junior league equally 1 & 2 from B league and 1
to 4 from A League.... How about that?

NUMBER ONE FROM JUNIOR LEAGUE

NUMBER ONE & TWO FROM LEAGUE B

TOP FIVE TEAMS FROM LEAGUE A

IS EQUAL TO EIGHT TEAMS

THEN U FOLLOW WHAT ANZATHU AKUM'MWERA ACHITA,BASITU,MASEWERA ALIPODI.

HERBERT NDITHANDIZEKO MUZANGA, AKHOMBA MUKUTI BWANJI.

King

U r right, Cezobal has 3 Leagues, A, B and Juniors, So What if they can
just take the Winner in Junior League, number one and two from League B
and Five top teams from League A that comes to Eight and then we follow
the same format like amzathu aku Sozobal.Bwanji Pamenepo.ndikati Goooo,
ndatha.

This is very informative and indeed CEZOBAL elections are long
overdue. I would suggest we use the opportunity of the Presidential
Tournament games to elect CEZOBAL office bearers , March 21-22 , atleast
two weeks for notification purposes and receiving applications.

As regards the way SOZOBAL came up with their teams from A league and
Schools league I think it would not be the same here in CEZOBAL
considering we have three leagues A , B and the Junior League (Sec
Schools etc) maybe we needed some kind of format to suit our situation.

All in all thanks for things happening on the ground and all the best to
teams competing in this tourney

Dear All ,

First of all accept my apologies for the fact that information has not
been free flowing in Cezobal. I , however , expect that you will
sympathize with me that running Cezobal without the assistance of a
committee , interim or otherwise has not been the easiest task.

Having said that , I would like to commend the Interim committee that
resigned for a magnificent job running Cezobal last season. I must state
that despite the few unfortunate hiccups towards the end , it was a
wonderful season. On that note , I would like to request for advice from
stakeholders of Cezobal on the way forward. When can we hold elections
and how?

Further , I would like to concur with Sten that on the spot fixtures are
not desirble and should not be tolerated at any cost. The way that
Basmal recommended and what Nozobal and Sozobal have done it is as
follows

Schools battled it out in their own competition. The result was that 3
teams qualified for the next stage

1. Joyce Banda Secondary

2. St. Patricks Academy

3. Likangala Secondary

These teams will join the top 5 teams in the A league depending on the
finishing positions from last seasons league. Last seasons league
standings for Sozobal were as follows

1. Bricks

2. Magang'a

3. Falcons

4. Crazy Warriors

5. Poly Bobcats

6. Hoofs

7. Chanco hawks

8. Spiders

9. Cobbe Barracks

This means that only Bricks , Maganga , Falcons , Warriors and Poly will
join Joyce Banda , St. Patricks and Likangala in the Zone finals and
will be seeded as follows

1. Bricks

2. Magang'a

3. Falcons

4. Crazy Warriors

5. Poly Bobcats

6. Joyce Banda

7. St. Patricks Academy

8. Likangala

The fixture then is easy..

Number 1 Vs Number 8

Number 2 Vs Number 7

Number 3 Vs Number 6

Number 4 Vs Number 5

This way there are no quarrels.. everyone knows who they play even
before they get to the court and there in no fixture doctoring or any
suspicion of the same. Also it ensures that the strongest teams do not
knock each other out leaving the weaker teams to proceed at the same
time giving the weaker teams chance to prove themselves.

This is what Basmal recommended and was approve by Council. I hope this
clears the air.

Kind regards

Roy .
