Gents and Ladies, Please be advised that the league will NOT start this weekend but will DEFINITELY start next weekend (18 - 19 July 2009), fixtures are being worked on right now and these will be posted on this Google Group / Face Book / and both the Cezobal and basmal websites by next week Tuesday, and we will make sure that we send to ALL Team Captains of registered teams.
Please do not blame the committee for the delay BUT blame yourselves. We were ready and released all required documentation in good time to everyone, but it's been the response from teams which has delayed the whole process, up to now most teams have just given us their registration fee without all the required forms. We need to make sure that players are only registered with ONE team, and there are no problems with any of the teams regarding registration for the league to start. Otherwise we don't want to have a situation that there are players who teams claim registered with them but are not on their team sheets. Please this is vital to avoid squabbles at a later stage. We want the league to be run in a professional manner and we hope teams can help us by being better organized as well, so that things run smoothly. There will be an Inter - Club Tournament in Zimbabwe in October, every Zone will be required to send a team to represent Malawi, please we as CEZOBAL will make sure that the team which goes and represents CEZOBAL will be good ambassadors of the Region and will help the Central region gain a lot of mileage, and recognition through out Southern Africa.
