Women's Final: Lady Dynamites 44, Lady Clippers 32 Congratulations to Lady Dynamites for being crowned the 2009 ABC Invitational Champions, and to Lady Clippers you guys are seriously improving by the day, I'm pretty sure that with a lot of training and hard work, you sure will one day dethrone the Dynamites. Keep on working hard. CEZOBAL women's league is sure gearing up for some serious fireworks next year. We just hope next year the other Zones will bring Women's teams as well. Men's Final: Magang'a 54, Mimbulu 53 Congratulations to Magang'a for being crowned the 2009 ABC Invitational Champions. For all those that did not make it, this was SOME match. It took the breath away from a lot of the spectators, this was one classic encounter. Paul Chinchen in his closing remarks actually said it was one of the best Malawian Basketball games he has ever watched in a very long time. Thanks to Mimbulu and Magang'a for giving us a game to remember. Those of us who watched the Championship Playoffs game between Blazers and Mimbulu, it was similar, with a lot of tension, tempers flaring up by the second, Guts, Wits and Skill all rolled into one massive encounter. Mimbulu don't lose hope every dogs has its day, unfortunately on Saturday it wasn't your day. We just hope that next time you come out fighting harder. I will like to personally thank the CEZOBAL FAMILY for supporting each and every team playing in the Central Zone league. That is what we need, we can be enemies because we play for rival teams in the league, but when it comes to playing against other Zones we all need to unite and support each other. Come next week, we will come out in large numbers and scream our lungs out in support of ALL our CEZOBAL teams. To the teams representing CEZOBAL, Mimbulu, Cougars and Blazers you are the ambassadors of Central Zone League, and we are proud of all of you and we know that you won't let down the league down, we know that each and every one of your teams will do its level best to win the National Championship.
