Hey guys as i read it looks like this is the final code of laws but probably for the future you may wish to consider. I understand the essence of this rule 2.3 below of which as a team have benefited from greatly but i feel like it may descriminate against those young stars that are below 18 do play ball but not from schools that are taking part in the activities of CEZOBAL and cant even have the opportunity to play for these teams. I like rule number 4.20 so much as it will bring consistency and so quality to ball this is ball not phada my hand of applause 4.20. There will be a registration fee of MK2,000 for any new player registered during this period who was not playing for any team during the first round league games. For any player who would be switching teams during the transfer window, there will be a registration fee of MK4, 000. 2.3 The youngster being registered should be schooling at a school where there is a basketball team that is registered to play in the junior league, and should be between 16 and 18 years old. There is a likelihood that teams will shun some of the tournaments as it was last year in Salima and noting the time people take to plan and stuff i feel like all CEZOBAL tournaments should be a must and not optional so that the usual punishments should apply ie a fine,points deduction cause every team atleast knows that come october 8 months down the line there will be a tournament and why should teams not get ready for this.Why must teams shun away from their own Galanight it when they know that its coming in 10 months time it gets hard for the planner 4.6 Any team which will pay to participate in any tournament and fails to turn up will not be refunded their money. Teams should notify the CEZOBAL committee no less than 48 hours before the tournament that they will not be able to participate, failure to do so will attract a fine of MWK2,000. Failure to pay the fine before the team’s next league game will result into two (2) points deducted.
