Friday to tip- off the weekend games, is "Slow Movers" Trojans, who seem to
have failed to break the 50 point mark in their opening 2 games, and they will
be squaring up against Disciples who apart from being the league's "Loud
Mouths" are trying to shape their team and make a serious challenge for the
Playoffs. Having tasted the playoffs in 2009 they know what they missed out on
last year, and ironically Trojans are the team which took their place last
year. Be Warned.....!
The highlight of the Friday night games is a "College Affair", two high flying
college teams, both brimming with confidence go head to head at 8pm Friday
night. The "Serpents" NRC Pythons having missed out on half of last season
through suspension, have a point to prove and coming from demolishing another
College team will be looking at cementing the throne of the "Kings of Colleges"
in the Cezobal league by beating the "Raging" ABC Lions who ironically were the
"Kings Of Colleges" in last years' season. There will be no brotherly love as
hopefully the Kumwenda Brothers Jeff and Brain, look at squaring up against
each other.....!

playing their first 2011 game against the "New Kids on the Block" Central
Knights, at the same time the "Hopefully Repentant" Alliance One will be
squaring it off with Sir Sten and the "Boys from the Hood", who are looking at
causing a sensation this year having overcome most of their organizational
problems from last year and looking at showing their Women's team, how it's
DONE.
2:30PM GAMES: Blazers looking at finally overcoming their "Hang Over" from last
year, of which they missed out on the Championship by a whisker, will have to
prove that they are up for the 2011 challenge by squaring up against the
"Redeemed Soldiers" Kamuzu Barracks, who are out to prove that this year they
will be causing huge upsets in the league. the most intriguing fixture will be
between the "early pacesetters", last years' "Crowd Pullers and Cheerleaders",
Pirates will look at getting one over a team which is very closely linked to
them History-wise, and "Papa Pirate" will look at revenging for all the agony
endured after 2009's season when 3 quarters of the Pirates jumped ship and
started playing for "the Serpents".
4:00PM GAMES: "The Air Men" coming from the Lakeshores will look at having
Buffaloes for dinner before starting off for the Lake, but the Buffaloes are
wounded having been rocked and kicked off the court by a college team which
they used to play around with and sing merry go round to for the past seasons,
will not take this game lying down..... whilst the "Mdzodzos of 2011" are still
searching for their "Queen Mother" and having been bashed twice already, it
doesn't look like Queen Mother will be found before they square up the
"Swaggering Cougars"........
