i love the woods, in fact when i lived in northern california, our property
butted up against the Roseburg forest (beautiful tall cedar's) and i would
drag a 100 ft. phone cord outside with my laptop and sit under those
wonderful trees while i worked, it is amazing how much more creative you can
be when you are not sitting under flourescent lights inside a cube.

Subject: how many hikers/ campers here?

just curious as to how many of you like to get out in the woods
& how many cant stand to be away from the glare of a 19" monitor?

seems like the deeper i get into code & development in general, the greater
the need for extended hiking trips into the woods/mountains ext.

not just for the fresh air & whisky, but i come back with a mellower
attitude, ready to ignore the multiple managers who want the unknown
yesterday.
