Ben! et al

This reminds me of a highly amusing story that I hesitate to share with "the
class" due to the... well.. what the heck!

My wife and I are at a wedding reception a couple of years ago and we're
sitting at a table with all of our friends. We get up to stretch our legs
and end up around a corner which is seemingly a dead-end except for a door
which I proceed to investigate. Turns out to be a broom closet. Hmmmmm, I
say to myself. I look around, and, not seeing anybody, turn to my wife with
a gleam in my eye and proceed to "gently" nudge her in for some, er, "alone
time" (I know, I'm such a romantic). Well, she quickly figures out what I'm
up to (Note to self: "Hey honey, check out the size of that broomstick!!!"
is NOT becoming.) and repels my advances. So here I am, literally trying to
shove my wife into the broom closet (just call me Casenova) and here she is
with her little arms and legs firmly propped against the doorway. It's a
stalemate! Little do I know that the adjacent pane glass windows, which
generally show off the great outdoors, are acting as a mirror into our
little corner of the room -- this fiasco is taking place right in front of
the guests! Highly amused, one of my wife's friends cry out "She's
RESISTING!" which is followed by an uproar of laughter. I turn around to see
what the commotion is about and stare back at the crowd for a moment.
Dejected, I walk into the broom closet alone, and shut the door.

My wife locked it and walked to the bar amidst applause.

8-)
Andrew
