Of course, thats what flash 5 brought along some goodies for programmers
you can write custom action script files .as and use then in your flash
movies. use any editor that suits you.

While I have your eyeballs. I love the potential for Flash, but I am a
coder, not an artist and that little ActionScript window annoys the crap out
of me...
Is there is a replacement for that little actionscript window? If not,
extending Homesite/Studio to Actionscript would be a perfect match.
