I just hear the real story..and its funnier than the rumor mongering that has swept
through downtown today :)
it seems that some moron wanted to steal a cash register from a store..
So this guy decides he can't get very far with a whole cash register..so he needed a
diversion.
So he threw a 'flambeau' (most probably something much cimpler than that concoction
but flammable) into one of the stores in
the excellent center, and while people rushed to the fire, he grabbed the cash
register.
They caught him before he'd gone more than a few feet and arrested him...and that's
how millions of dollars worth of damage
to teh building, cars where the side wall of the building fell etc. was done.
No one was hurt in all of this...but you have to just laugh at the utter idiocy of
this guy!!
They're probably going to lock him up for life or something.
Gosh! He should have been made eligibile for a Darwin award or something.
