Where there is a will, there's a way. Once someone has determined that
they're going to bomb the pentagon, there's such little time to
intercept that plane before it does it's damage. What's worse is that
the planes were hijacked and I assume loaded with civilians so even if
they were intercepted it would be a tough decision whether the plane
should be shot down or not. I wouldn't want to be the one to make that
decision. 

A very sad day indeed...
