I saw the new Harry Potter movie.
I think it was the best movie yet; definitely a must see for fans of the
series.

While it touched on all the important plot points of the book, it felt
like a lot of the little details were left out.  In many ways the movie
flowed better than the previous two.  The dementors were very well done; as
was the Maurader's map.  The scenery and backgrounds were fantastic to watch

My two complaints (spoilers below if you care)

A) Magic without wands:  It appeared to be happening all over the place,
from Lupin opening the Boggart chest to Harry blowing up Aunt Marge.
In the books, the only time we have magic w/o a wand is in book 5 when
Harry casts a Lumos after (during) the Dementor attack.  That is an anomaly
and people don't know yet if it was a mistake or has some great significant
meaning we'll find out in later books.

B) Hogwarts was hilly.  It appeared that everyone was going up (or down) a
hill, especially on the way to Hagrid's cottage.  Everything appeared more
natural in the first two movies.

The kids spent half their time in normal clothes, not magic robes.  It
bothered me in the trailers, although I didn't even notice while watching
the movie.
