I was hoping for some more negative comments.
The design was forced upon the site, and for a number of reason I believe it is a mess. Originally it didn't have compliant XHTML or CSS. Then it turned out the designers used CSS to compensate for the lack of structure in the XHTML (there is even a CSS section labeled "structure"). Then it turned out it took forever to load in lower power computers. Then ...
Anyhow, I am now writing a piece on how much it sucks to present to The Powers That Be.
