Well, not quite the same.  If you use the schemas, then you can easily create database users that only have access to a certain schema.  You can then easily set up different DSN's that uses a particular user name so that it is tied to a certain schema and thus can only access those particular tables.  


According to the documentation, it only costs $5 to set up new DSN's after the first two, so that shouldn't run up too big a bill, if it is worth it to you to segregate the data from different clients.
