Its far easier to list the advantages of a child over a dog....of which i
can only think of one:
A child can take care of your dog while you're on vacation.

That and the huge amount of time and money they suck up.
My wife and I decided a while ago that we both would rather not have
children, just lots of puppies. Puppies never talk back, never wreck your
car, steal your stash and smoke it with the neighborhood kids, etc.
