Game 7 is going to be another classic. My co-workers were at game 7 for
the ALCS last year. I know for sure one of them is going again this
year. Sigh. I wish I was there. I don't think the World Series can get
better then this. I read that St Louis actually has a dog fight on their
hands now too. They have to come back from a 3-2 deficit. I would watch
that series too except I'm too emotionally invested in this one to be able
to follow the National League.
PS My girlfriend, who doesn't like baseball, had a Yankees cap on while
visiting her friend in Boston about 3 years ago. She said the people were
terribly rude to her because of the cap. She doesn't like the Yankees but
she dislikes the Red Sox after that experience. When I told her that the
Yankees lost game 6 her response was classic.
Me: The Yankees lost again. The squandered a 3 game lead.
Her: really? losers
