I completely agree. I work with professional scholars every day.
People who have dedicated their lives to the study of a particular
field. One of my roommates in college was a history/German languages
double major and now works in DC.

At the same time, having worked first hand with Ph.D.s, I can say that
1.) just because they have an education in a subject does not mean
they all agree; and 2.) even Ph.D.s can say dumb things outside their
field of knowledge.

But Eminem isn't being an expert. Not any more so than the rest of us
are here day to day when we discuss politics. He's just expressing his
own views which as I see it happen to quite accurately coincide with
the finding of the 9/11 commission and the Duelfer report.
