Most neo-cons are part of Mr. Bush's personality cult rather than
actually conservative.

For example, true fiscal conservatives, for whom that's their top
issue, are voting for Mr. Kerry.  Many, such as the author of that
article, have said so publicly.  I could give other examples.

Therefore, anyone who's fiscally conservative but still voting for Mr.
Bush must have other priorities.

All that I've talked to are doing it solely for Supreme Court picks;
they are social conservatives who believe the federal government has a
place in your bedroom and therefore want to ensure the Supreme Court's
justices put them there.  They care more about that than fiscal
responsibility.
