I don't think that's company wide.

We have Adelphia here in GA and we have normal access to ports
80,25,110,445 and 995 (2 of gmail's ports). We do not use their mail
server AT ALL. Only our own.

We haven't had any complaints about them to make yet, but I won't hold
my breath. We also have DSL though, should the cable piss us off.
