Not sure about that one. At the time of the treaty the US suffered a net loss of territory in the north east, while all but a 5 mile strip in Niagra was in American control.
Moreover if Chrysler's Farm, Lundy's Lane, Queenston Heights or the Bladensburg Races cannot be called an arse whipping then little else is.
