Microsoft tends to be pretty generous with their betas. I've been in
several with MS Virtual Server being the last one (although I was REALLY
hoping to get a free copy out them, but there were no perks). ;^)

Another area to try is MS usability testing:

http://www.microsoft.com/usability/

Once you sign up you're contacted infrequently to participate in surveys or
evaluate software (perhaps once or twice a year). They're very generous:
most surveys take less than hour to complete and your allowed to pick pretty
much any MS product as a "gift" for completion (I got two copies of Office
XP Developer's Edition for free this way).

Macromedia can also be pretty generous, but so far I've only been asked into
the office with them (that's how I got Flash and DreamWeaver).

Sign up for those beta's folks! ;^)
