Burnout 3: Takedown is perhaps one of the best games ever. I really HATE racing games, but I love this one. The crash mode (smash you car into an intersection and see how damage you can do) is utterly addictive.
The racing action is hard and violent (crashing and risky behavior is the rule of the day) but completely bloodless. Drivers are never personified and there are no pedestrians or other graphic representations of the violence.
