Fox Home Entertainment and LucasFilm send along word that Cartoon Network's
animated series, Star Wars: Clone Wars will be released
on DVD on March 22nd.
Blending Star Wars thrills and epic battles with a unique animation style,
the Emmy Award-winning STAR WARS: CLONE WARS Volume 1
comes to DVD on March 22, 2005, from Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox
Home Entertainment.
From renowned animation producer/director Genndy Tartakovsky (Samurai Jack,
Dexter’s Laboratory), the entirely new adventure
series follows the exploits of heroic Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace
Windu and a legion of Jedi Knights as they fight
against the forces of the Dark Side during the calamitous Clone Wars of Star
Wars legend.

This cartoon series' storyline is supposedly far better than that of the last
two movies.
