Why should the average movie goer care? Because it's movie news! Two of the iconic films, and Matrix in particular, were created by people other than those who purported to write them from scratch.
You don't think that's news? That's a scandal! What if it turns out JK Rowling didn't write her books? Or George Lucas didn't invent Star Wars?? Why would this not be news to the average movie goer, and I mean screw movie goer, average American? Is there such abysmal apathy that no one would care that they've been hoodwinked?... ...
