Our Vonage router has two outlets for Phone lines. I don't know about distinctive rings (we used to have it with our bell south line) - but I would assume if you had two different phone sets plugged in, you would get 2 distinctive rings :)
We have an 800 number as well, and it's set to one of our lines, so that would be the same setup as yours. The router also has three network ports which we use to hook it to our office router.
