While it may be true that the BBC may have a double standard (and I am not
confirming or denying that here) you can not make that claim based on this
instance.

All the BBC did was give air time to this Opera, they did not write it.  As
far as I am aware there are no operas mocking any other religion for the BBC
to air, if there was it is posible the BBC would air them.

Protestors are missing the target by aiming at the BBC, they are just the
messenger.  DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!!

Why not attack and protest the writer, the director, the producer, the
performers...  Because this would give the protesters the exposure they
deserve, none what so ever!
