I was at the Jets-Chargers game, and I still haven't recovered from bonehad Marty Shottenheimer deciding to run the ball up the middle 3 plays in a row from the 22 instead of going for the touchdown to win the game. Kaeding is a great kicker, but he isn't Vinateiri, he doesn't have the clutch experience at the pro level.
If there is one thing the Colts-Cargers game and the last two Colts-Patriots games illustrate, it is that if there is any time left of the clock and Manning has the ball in his hands, the Colts can score. Recently Bellicheck has owned Manning, just like the Dolphins used to own him in the AFC East, but this is a different Colts team right now. Edge is healthy and Manning has three go-to WRs plus two TEs who can catch the ball, plus Jame Mungro and Dominic Rhodes. That is some sick offensive firepower.
