Time to put the Naturalist hat back on....

How large were the leaves?  1 inch long by about 3/4 inch?

It is definitely an ornamental tree.  Probably older and therefore more
valuable based upon the size of the trunk.  Not being able to see the
texture of the leaf, I'm going to guess it is an elm of some sort.  Or
possibly one of the deciduous oaks if the leaves are larger, like about
2 or 3 inches long.  However, based upon the background the leaf is
photographed upon, I'll stick to an elm or related tree.
