I'm a list member of my local freecycle group too. I'm kinda put off by how many "wanted" posts there are. Stuff like "I need a car to replace mine that doesn't work anymore", "my child needs a Nintendo game console preferably with games", I need another laptop because mine is too slow", etc. I dunno, but it seems that this has strayed from it's original purpose.
