Oh, I am very excited about the next 4 years or so. I've been a Pats fan since I got a team workout t-shirt from Russ Francis in the late 70s. (Before that it was all about the Cowboys.)
I'm not downplaying any of the success, both past and future. It is incredible what they have done and are doing. Some people don't like it, though. For them, it is not about team, and not about winning. It is about "respect", a paycheck, "me". Can you say Ty Law? Ted Washington? They decided to move on. They played under the system while here and thrived, but moved on. Don't say the "d" word around here, though. Haven't you heard, the Eagles are the best team since the 72 Dolphins. They eat nails and have a nasty disposition.
