I agree with you 100% that there are worse influences out there.  When you
can turn on the WB and see gun violence and gratuitous nudity with no
problem, but show two men holding hands and there's automatically a parental
advisory warning, there's definitely a problem with people's priorities.

As a gay man without children, though, I'm not qualified to say when I think
kids should learn about it, or even how.  My opinion on that would naturally
be biased.
