I've never been a fan of the cell phone/PDA combos. I like to keep my devices separate. Although it is nice to have the built-in internet connectivity via cell... I bought the new Dell Axim 50v (like Kevin did). Dual slots for CF and SD, built in Wi-fi and Bluetooth, VGA screen (beautiful...). and about $200 less than the HP 4700 and a heck of a lot smaller. The brick form factor on the new HP sucks...
The battery life isn't that great, but it lasts a decent amount of time if you drop down the screen brightness and judiciously use the wireless. I don't leave mine on all day either. I usually get two days use out of a single charge with the standard battery.
