You may be making some large assumptions there - I don't know what
your background is, though.

We don't know that any General "gets off" on killing, but certainly
it's part of all General's job - or could be.  This General seems to
be saying that if and when he does have to kill, it's easier when the
killees aren't good people.

I guess my point is that you don't know if the 2 changed positions if
the same exact thing would happen.
