I agree. I have always gotten good stuff off this list and have formed great friendships. Those are worth more to me than any preformance review. Especially in this day and age of NON-loyalty when it comes to corporate business. He may get a better review next year, because he will have stayed off the list, but if a month or so from then, the company has financial troubles and lays off a load of people, performance reviews won't save him if his job is expendable. Whereas we'll always be here. That retreat didn't teach him the value of friendships or moderation, because like with food, lists need to be taken moderately. Willpower to not jump in on every conversation. To tell you the truth, I'm actually quite offended. By coming in here and telling us the way he did about why he left, leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. Apparently we are all time wasters and don't spend time with our family and we also must not do our jobs very well. Hmmm. Yeah. Well, have a nice life Russell. Good luck in your endeavors.
