I heard the same thing from some southern French friends who then proceeded to bash Parisians - there seem to be quite the rivalry between the Parisians and the rest of France. It seems the southern French have an accent just like the south here. The Parisians make fun of it all the time (just like we do here!) For example, Toulouseans say "too-LOOSE-a", but Parisians say, "TOO-loossse". It's funny. Back to wine, if you like reds, I love the Malbecs out of Argentina. Mostly because they seem really cheap and they're pretty tasty. Here's what Sam's site says about them: The Malbec grape is one of the six varieties approved for making red wines in the Bordeaux region of France. It is used in small percentages and is being grown and included less every year. The only place that it is on the upswing and makes high quality wines is in Argentina. Elsewhere, it is planted in small amounts and is usually included because of its background in Bordeaux. It is a thin skinned grape that needs more sun and heat than either Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot to mature. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase RoboHelp from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=59 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:150523 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
