It is a digital, but it's a high end one.
Cost us about $5000 2 1/2 years ago.
Canon EOS D60 (bought it in England, so the dollar for pound ratio
killed us)
It was a big splurge - but we use it ALL THE TIME.
And I HAD to have a camera I could take macro pics (closeups) and big
zoomed pics (500mm) all at high res.

I've always loved photography from a hobby standpoint. It's quick and
easy and satisfies my artistic cravings right now. I don't have time to
paint, but I have time to snap photos as I go along my daily life. :)
