I actually love the new MSN 7. It adds a lot of neat, if gimmicky, features that make conversing online much more fun. I've come to accept the ads etc. as the price of using software for free, much like the Ads that are found in PLUM for example. I think there are IM clients that are made specifically for business communications and include features such as encrypted conversations etc. MSN Messenger certainly was not aimed at Business users, though several people use it for both roles, casual chat as well as business.
I use both ICQ5 and MSN Messenger, and I have to say that once again MSN 7 has leapfrogged ICQ, just when they had caught up to MSN 6. :) -Gel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:153351 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
