I would agree on most of that.

As a metal fan, I can still differentiate between bands with excellent
songwriting and musical skill like Rammstein, Pantera, Motorhead, and
Symphony X and those with no talent whatsoever... like anything that
actually gets played on radio stations in this country (Linkin Park,
Slipknot, Disturbed, etc.) ;D
