Well first I would use one of the wireless networks to find the proper spelling of the word neighborhood. :) (that was a joke) Seriously though, in my building I can see about 10 wireless networks and 3 or 4 are unsecured. Though I would never do this, the thought occurred to me that a devious person could configure 3 or 4 separate machines or NICs each to connect to an unsecured network. You could then connect your little wifi-cluster together using a wired network and treat it like your own multi-channel super-high bandwidth internet connection. The things you could do with such a beast are interesting, but the most commonly used would probably be to make a P2P aggregator which could combine the power of several connections to download your stuff faster. You could dedicate each connection to a different P2P network, or combine them all into one large file puller (or pusher, depending on what you're into).
