Personally, I think that TV is funny. I feel like I'm being lied to alot when I watch TV..... except when I watch the NBA or something like that...
Watching people murder, lie, cheat, steal.... doesn't seem to be a good influence on anybody (That is my opinion). That doesn't mean I don't watch stuff, because I do, mainly to kill time. But, everyone is entitled to watch what they choose. The subject interests me, because the question is always asked "Where do we draw the line". That is a hard question to ask given the varied opinions and can seem to be answered. Because everyone feels their 'right' to view what they like and naturally everyone feels they're right in their argument. To end my 2 cents with a 3rd.... TV (in general) is not important and should not even be taken to seriously. That is not to say that it doesn't have it's uses, like some news, events, weather...etc. If you don't like whats on, don't watch it(TV) or sell it(TV) or fire it(TV) in the trash or fire it(TV) out the window.
