I know some people here use OS X and are probably upgrading to Tiger. Here's a quick heads up that there are some known issues with Tiger and the Macromedia tools.
General Issues: * Applications require re-Activation after upgrading * F12 Key (e.g. Preview in Browser in Dreamweaver) is now used by the OS X Dashboard http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=d2410320 Dreamweaver: * Dreamweaver is not supported on Mac OS Extended (Case-Sensitive) and UNIX file systems * Cannot launch "Optimize in Fireworks" if Fireworks is already open * Clicking on context sensitive Help button does not open up corresponding Help page * Cannot access Dreamweaver Help after performing Archive and Install of Mac OS X 10.4 * Cannot select a code hint choice using the Return key or Up and Down arrow keys * When clicking on the results of XML validation, an error occurs stating that the document was not found * Pressing Command+W causes a JavaScript error for localized versions of Dreamweaver * Link in lower right corner of Start Page does not appear on localized versions of Dreamweaver * Dreamweaver does not set a default browser for the Preview in Browser preference when performing a clean install of Mac OS X 10.4 * The shortcut key F12 in Dreamweaver launches Mac Dashboard instead of Preview in Browser * The Administrator password dialog box has a generic application icon when running the Dreamweaver installer * Additional information http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=d9e959b3 Contribute: * When creating a connection with a hub file for an Administrator role, the dialog box to enter a password does not appear if the administrator password is in the hub file. (Ref. 187346) * The Kana key cannot be used to switch the Input Method Editor (IME) for Japanese Hiranga input in Contribute's browser form fields (Japanese keyboards only). (Ref. 189486) * Mousedown events work sporadically and are not reliable in Safari. (Ref. 143627) * High ASCII characters do not display in the status bar. (Ref. 136492) * Safari returns extra strings when retrieving embed tag. Other menus are displaying properly. * When selecting the Chinese text converter from Services, Fireworks will crash. http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_18891 Freehand: * The triangle that represents a submenu in the Commands menu is not displaying * Colored text, transformed or on a path, has white boxes or blocks around the characters when printed to some printers. In our testing this was seen on a HP DeskJet 5550. * When defining an Output area and printing the Area (Win) or Print area (Mac), some printers have not limited the print area to the area specified.
