Agreed. I can't remember how many times I had to fax them a credit card receipt to prove that I paid for their subscriptions. Now, I get Java Developer's Journal every month. I didn't pay for it. I didn't ask for it. But it's good toilet-reading material.
One time, I asked to have the JDJ "subscription" changed to CFDJ instead. What did they do? The next month, I got two JDJ and one CFDJ. The month after that it was right back to a single JDJ. Sheesh.
