Yea, that had occurred to me as well... Though I figured "left" likely
still has some meaning for them -- like -- they would know that as a
rule of thumb "left" occurs toward the beginning of the content rather
than the end (assuming they're speaking a left-to-right language as
opposed to say Hebrew). The larger issue being "pane" in that
statement -- they might know that a menu is on the "left" and
therefore toward the beginning, but that doesn't help them understand
where the "pane" begins and ends specifically.
