I've decided there is a potential usability problem with the HoF header. The problem lies in the fact that the banner is mostly blue on the left with an ad on the right, but the whole thing is just below some important links on the site: My HoF | RSS | Print | Advertising | Search .
I say this is a potential usability problem for two reasons. One, the text sort of blends in with the ad below it. Two, it only really becomes an issue if the top of your browser is white and there is no clear demarcation between the browser menu and the site. Such was the case for me, as I have been using the Saferfox Xpanded theme for FireFox. I just switched to Brushed (a derivation of Saferfox). Now my browser menu and the page contents are clearly separated by color and a clear border. Has anyone else had this problem? I only bring it up because I could never seem to find the My HoF link, even though I knew sort of where it was.
