Sorry - no.  In this case I'm talking specifically about the DOS "Edit"
program.  It was really popular amongst geeks for a long time and people
still used it regularly into Windows NT and 2000 - but it was a silent
killer.  ;^)

It's still available even in Windows XP.  Go to a command line and type
"Edit".  You'll see this wonderful text editor!

Open your CPU monitor at the same time - as you type in Edit you'll see your
CPU grow and grow.  I can't peg it any longer on my machine (a 3.06 GHz P4
with 2 Gig of RAM) but it still sucks up about 40-50% of the CPU just
typing.  On older machines it would just bring them to their knees.
