One of the best uses for VNC is a client called "Win2VNC"
(http://fredrik.hubbe.net/win2vnc.html). If you have 2 PC's or more like
myself it is great. You still use a monitor on both so you now have 2
monitors on your desk but only one keyboard and mouse. The Win2VNC client
transfers mouse and keyboard controll to and from the second machine but
leave the monitor where it is.

This way I currently have 2 windows based machines and a linux box, all 3
showing their screens, but don't have 3 keyboards and mice hogging all my
desk and begging me to type things on the wrong one :)
