Which is exactly where it should be!  That's the unique thing about
the US, it comes with a built in R&D department: the States.

All of these non Golden Rule moral issues (Drugs, prostitution,
gambling, etc) should be States' Rights issues.  Get them off the
federal election debate agenda!

Why are Presidential candidates talking about abortion?  Is that
really more important than securing the country or ensuring we've got
a good fiscal policy?  No.  And even if you think it is, it should be
up to the R&D department to get data - if it works, maybe the other
States will think about it, if not, we don't all suffer; and either
way we can move.
