There doesn't seem to be.

There have been conspiracy theories about the towers since the event and the
one thing they seem to have in common is a complete misunderstanding about
the physic involved.

(In this respect they're fast replacing the old generation of moon-landing
doubters as the crackpots of choice.)

The fall of the twin towers is easily explained using only what we assume
happened. The jet full/office products fire didn't have to "melt" the steel
(although it probably did in some place), it only had weaken it. Once
enough of the lattice-like horizontal struts failed the rest would succumb
in a domino effect. Once the floor fell it would pancake down on the
already weakened supports of the floor below and then the entire building
would pancake down as we saw.

This makes complete sense knowing what we knew about the building's
construction.

The theorists will point to assumptions (lacking evidence at almost every
turn) about how the buildings "should have" toppled over sideways or how
debris would only be thrown upwards if a bomb were used or how jet fuel
fires wouldn't have melted the steel or how any number of things.

The problem is they just jibe with the known expectations of the situation.
Common sense says that the buildings would have toppled sideways, not
physics and architecture. Common-sense is wrong more often than you think.
